"Reinventing Vernacular Architecture is going to build a tiny stone house. The interior will include the necessities for living the modern life that most people in the west are used to. There will be a bathroom, a small kitchen, electricity and heat. And most of the materials for construction are going to be natural, sustainable and very local. It´s going to be a challenge to do it, a challenge we look forward to.

During August 2016 Alagoa das Flores, home of Reinventing Vernacular Architecture, will be offering the opportunity to learn more about building with natural and local material for anyone who might be interested.
